Ethiopia, especially the Tigray Region, is suffering from a prolonged drought, and the lives of the people are extremely difficult.
A dry water well rehabilitation benefits an average of 500 beneficiaries, sparing them many hours of walking to fetch polluted water from rivers.
Our local partners indicated the urgency of rehabilitating the water well located in the Village of Daero Hawatsi, in the Gulomekada district.
The beneficiaries of this project, who have been without water for three years, will be 550 people, and the donor is Maria Francesca Sgandurra.
Clean and potable water will be available in a month’s time.
