At Ampassindava, Nosy Be island, Madagascar, the required medical care was practised inside an old-fashioned container located at a school compound of 1300 children. Besides the daily practices of first aid, surgeries and medicines supply, all were granted for free, and deliveries were currently carried out.
Thanks to the financial support of our friends Renato and Daniela Collodoro and their restaurant RISTO’- La trattoria del Buon Mangiare. customers, Elena Pizzighello and Mario Zorzetto, together with their friends, the Butterfly Foundation could complete the construction of a new dispensary that officially opened on September 14th 2022.
The new dispensary includes a waiting area, consultation and medical room and a room for deliveries for 60 patients per day.
This project will further support the charitable activities carried out by our friend and local counterpart, Manina Consiglio, living for over 20 years in such a beautiful area of the world
