In the Tigray Region of Ethiopia, 70% of existing water wells have been destroyed during the recent war or have dried up due to the drought.
The rehabilitation of the Wutafa water well, located in the vicinity of the Saint Michael school, will provide safe, clean water to approx. 755 people. The above will be an important contribution to reducing infant mortality and diseases related to unsafe water.
